Dec 2 is the day Santa came to town.

The weather cooperated – Grand Forks got its first snowfall of the season just in time for the parade.
After the parade was the official switching on of the ‘tree’ and light display in Gyro Park. This year there are 3 trees.
A lot of people came out and enjoyed the events. Many are giving congratulations to the people who put all this on.
There’s a new Christmas Ornament in town …
The 2013 Santa Parade took place Thursday evening, Dec 6.
Temperatures in the region of -15C weren’t enough to keep people away – Market Street was filled with the sounds of children having a good time even before the parade came through. The Baptist Church was giving away hot drinks and treats for free, the Rotarians were selling their Kettle Corn and many businesses on Market were open so people could get in out of the cold.
