City Council Jan 13, 2020

City Council had a busy day . . . that began with an in-camera meeting the day before regarding the Warming Centre reopening in its previous location at 7500 Donaldson Drive, the former Bus Depot.

Then we come to Monday with Committee Of The Whole, another in-camera meeting and then the Regular meeting in the evening. And the Regular meeting did NOT get adjourned Monday night . . . it continued at 7pm on Wednesday evening.

There was one little item of some minor significance in the evening meeting question period: I announced my resignation from doing the live streaming of city council. More on this in a coming post . . .

The meeting on Monday was not adjourned – only recessed until later . . . on Wednesday. This was so the new Operator of the re-opened Warming Centre, Boundary Family Services, could have a chance to look at the letter from the city and come back with a plan and list of operating rules.
