One of the things Community Futures Boundary does is deliver programs for the province’s WorkBC initiative.
And WorkBC has support for those of you that are in Job Search mode or have just started a job and are working less than 19 hours per week. The help covers things like uniforms, foot wear and essential tools for new hires, your job might require these items but you haven’t gotten your first pay cheque yet; gas to help you get to interviews in you search for a job. You can listen to my interview with Andrea Zibin in the video below and visit their website (boundarycf.com) for more information. They have workshops to help you sharpen your job search skills, assistance to get certification and training and much, much more.
