On June 28, 2017 the body of Jeffrey David BAUDER aged 28 yrs was located South of Northport Washington USA in the Columbia river. BAUDER went missing and was presumed drowned after a water craft accident in the Columbia river in Trail on May 9, 2017.
United States Forensic Examiners on this date positively identified BAUDER’s body which will now be returned for funeral services.
The Trail & Greater District RCMP wish to express their sincere condolences to Mr. BAUDER’s family, and also want to thank the search and rescue personnel and other emergency services who assisted in the search for Mr. BAUDER.

Missing Person- Darrell UNGER
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 49 year old Darrell UNGER of Trail BC who has been missing since this morning about 1100 hours (March 29). Darrell UNGER was last seen driving his burgundy 2014 Ford F150 bearing BC Licence number 0311LP away from his residence in Sunningdale.
Darrell is described as 5’11” 190 lbs with very short white hair and a moustache and goatee.
If Darrell or his vehicle are located please contact the police immediately at 250-364-2566.
UPDATE Feb 27: Mr. Moisson has been returned to the Daly Pavilion.
On February 25th, 2016 James MOISSON eloped from the Daly Pavilion Mental Health Facility in Trail BC.
Due to mental health concerns MOISSON is considered a High Risk Missing Person.

49 years old
5′ 7″ in height
210 lbs in weight
Brown hair, has a beard, and is missing a front tooth

On September 18, 2015 at approximately 2000hrs members of the Trail RCMP General Duty Section pulled over a vehicle which was traveling from Rossland to Trail. The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested for Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking. During the search of the vehicle approximately 20 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and 2 grams of black tar Heroin were located.
Numerous charges including Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Drugs, Breach of Undertaking, and Breach of Probation have been recommended against two of the occupants of the vehicle. These two persons are known to the police, and have been remanded in custody appearing in Rossland Court today. Their vehicle was towed from the scene and issued an inspection order as it was deemed unsuitable for Highway travel.
This was a proactive police investigation taken on by local uniformed members and is a significant seizure of Crystal Methamphetamine for this area.
